Barton Marks was established in 2010, having started as two separate ideas and operations. We have grown organically, leveraging our successes to build long-term relationships. In a complex market, we assist clients in reaching their goals. Chris Barton

MSc Management Science and Operational Research - Warwick Business School. Chris has an extensive background in management consultancy and corporate finance. He has worked with numerous blue chip private banks, investment banks and asset managers, including Barclays, UBS, ING and GLG. He has advised in various areas including research, trading, collateral management, operations, portfolio management, risk management and pricing. He has also advised across various sectors (e.g. energy, mining, a telecoms). He also has extensive due diligence experience.
Stephan Marks

Stephan has over 8 years experience in real-estate and alternative investments. He started his career in the city, trading for two private equity firms. In 2009 Stephan partnered with several other consultants and advisors to start a consultancy and private equity house that would focus on smaller projects as well as advising on significantly larger projects. During 2011 a niche market became clear, advising on complex restructuring in the real estate and corporate markets. Since then Stephan has successfully advised on over £100m worth of transactions.
